The Door is Always Open (MOCA Taipei Museum Catalogue)

The Door is Always Open (2014) explores Gary’s Baseman’s creative universe in a 103-page exhibition catalogue, highlighting many of the artist’s major artworks in an experiential “home” environment.

Published by the Taipei Culture Foundation, the book is in both Chinese and English, with a foreword by MOCA Taipei Executive Director J.J. Shih and a curatorial essay by Denise A. Gray.

The catalogue includes installation photos, documentation of “The Dance of the Eastern Chou” performance featuring Taiwanese performing artists, and a special guide to Baseman’s original characters.
